Lung Cancer is a serious disease where abnormal cells in the lungs grow uncontrollably, forming tumors that interfere with normal lung function. It is one of the most common and deadliest types of cancer worldwide. Lung cancer is mainly caused by smoking, but it can also occur in non-smokers due to factors like exposure to secondhand smoke, air pollution, asbestos or genetic factors.
